Spring Break Pho
July 2009
A current side project, this is a draft design for SpringBreakPho.com, which is an annual gathering for celebrating the traditional Vietnamese noodle dish. I designed a layout that’s fun and playful like the event itself, while providing room for fruitful content and resources. Click here to view a demo of this design. |

Caden’s Room
July 2009
I created a small dedication site for my friend’s 5-year-old nephew, Caden. Modeled after objects in his room, I loved creating the cartoon-styled images! This was a rush project that I completed in a week. Click here to view a demo of this design. |

Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government Application Form
August 2008
Customizing the Harvard Kennedy School’s Embark application form was a rushed project to replace the application’s former, outdated style. I designed the form to similarly reflect the styles of Harvard Kennedy School’s main page, while ensuring the minor styling details were consistent throughout the site. |

University of Michigan, Office of Undergraduate Admissions Application Form
February 2008
Another revamp project, I designed the UMich Undergraduate Embark application form for easy readability of the form’s sections. With the project manager, we highly considered placement and formatting of the answer fields and their labels for the best user experience. |

Craisin.com: “The Resume”
2007
For this design, I wanted my resume to be the main content for my website, along with an emphasis on my portfolio work. Although clean and simple, I soon realized that this design was too rigid and bland for my style, and didn’t match my personality very well. Click here to view a demo of this design. |

Craisin.com: “The Plain/Clean One”
2005-2006
This is one of my favorite designs that I’ve done for my site. I designed this with the intention of learning CSS. It was very content-centered design with minimal graphics. The blog links with hover photos of my friends on the left side was a pre-cursor to the ever-present sidebar blogrolls we see now. Click here to view a demo of this design. |

The Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, UCLA
2005-2006
Enhancing the previous webmaster’s design of the Cotsen site, I redesigned portions of the site to reflect more of an archaeology theme. I also created graphics and images to make the site more visual. Click here to view a demo of this design. |

Craisin.com: “UCLA Girl”
2003-2005
This layout focused mostly on visuals. It was very fun to design: from coloring a hand-drawn picture with Photoshop to making a film strip-like border. I was excited to be away for college, and shared my experience through photos and blogging. The layout, however, proved to be restricting on content and text space due to the nature of the layout. Drawings / Paintings
Here are some of my latest drawings and paintings. Most are from my Figure Drawing classes, and the Color Dynamics class I’m currently taking. I LOVE working in pencil and charcoal, and I’m now getting used to gouache paints!

Hi Sunny! No problem! :) Learning about color interaction is definitely a challenge, but incredibly advantageous to get a handle of! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions and I’ll try my best to help out. :)
Goodluck, and thanks so much for your input! <3
